Initially, Shrenu wasn’t keen on taking up this project since she was supposed to play anti-role bahu in it. However, the makers convinced her to their best. “I had to push myself to convince that I am going to play a grey character. It’s not totally a negative character. This character was very challenging and I wanted to do something different from the roles I have portrayed previously. Initially, I said a no. I thought I won’t be able to play the role of Janhvi Mittal. But the makers tried hard to convince me. But, now that I am getting to play the role, it would have been my life’s biggest mistake had I said ‘no’," she elaborated.

In the show, audience will witness different layers of character Jahnvi; which will be a complex one.
