Comedian-actor Sandeep Anand to join ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’; more details inside

TV actor Sandeep Anand, who has been part of shows like May I Come In Madam?, FIR and Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai is all set to enter The Kapil Sharma Show. The actor had taken a break for few months before joining Kapil Sharma’s team.

Confirming the same to a leading tabloid, Sandeep said, “So after May I Come In Madam, I said no to a lot of big offers, and my friends thought that it was foolish of me to do so. But when I got a call from The Kapil Sharma Show, I said yes because I love his work and him as a person and he loves me and my work too.”

He further added, “I was also going through a roller coaster ride in my personal life, but sometimes, as Joseph Campbell has rightly said, we must be willing to let go of the life we’ve planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us. I utilized the time to explore and expand my knowledge of the craft. So I have directed an experimental short film Method Acting Ka Bhoot, which is my tribute to the amazing craft of acting and actors. For some acting is a profession, for some it is a passion, for me it is a calling. And I couldn't have asked for a better time as people are now looking at me in different genres from different roles on different digital platforms.”

On personal front, Sandeep had filed a divorce in January 2019. The actor has cited compatibility issues for the divorce.

"I got married, only for their(parents) happiness. I got married to a girl who I was not in love with. Soon I realised we both were different. She is from a small town, while I'm in Mumbai. Different culture and different society! But I had some responsibility, so I tried making things better. And I gave seven years of my life to my marriage. I tried hard to work on it, but it didn't work out and things fell apart. Yes, we have filed for divorce. It's been almost a year since we got separated. I have moved on from my life, and even she has moved on,” said Sandeep Anand.
