Akshay Kumar is the only superstar who not only does more than one film a year but also ensures that they all are hits at the box office, and yet he is able to get some free time to go on family vacations and take weekend offs. The actor who has an enviable line-up of films in his kitty was given a cash counting machine during his recent visit on The Kapil Sharma Show by the comedian. Kapil Sharma gifted him the machine while the superstar came to promote his upcoming film Laxmmi Bomb.
Kapil celebrated Akshay’s silver jubilee on the show and invited his team members to give thoughtful gifts to the actor. In the promo shared by Kapil on Instagram, we get to see Akshay receiving a money counting machine, a clock with a rooster on it, a silver mug and other stuff. Akshay was accompanied by his co-star Kiara Advani on the show.
Bharti Singh gave him a silver mug to make his silver jubilee, Krushna Abhishek presented him with the clock as Akshay is known to be an early riser and likes early morning shoots. Kiku Sharda gave him a Taj Mahal replica. When Kapil gave Akshay the money counting machine, the latter took a dig at the host and said, “This is a money counting machine, which he has brought from his home. He is the one who eats half of the money being made in the industry.”
Akshay and Kiara are awaiting the release of their horror-comedy film Laxmmi Bomb. Akshay plays the role of a man possessed by a transgender person’s spirit in the film. Directed by Raghava Lawrence and produced by Tusshar Kapoor, Shabinaa Khan and Reliance Entertainment, the film wil premier on November 9, 2020, on DisneyPlus Hotstar.
