Sofia Hayat lashes out at trolls for comparing her with Sana Khan, says 'When I was a nun I did not have sex for 18 months'

Actress Sana Khan married a Surat-based Muslim cleric Mufti Anas in an intimate ceremony on November 21. The Bigg Boss 6 contestant had announced her decision to quit showbiz citing religious reasons. Soon after pictures of Sana's wedding pictures were shared on social media, she was compared with Bigg Boss 7 participant Sofia Hayat. Back in 2016, Sofia embraced spirituality, became a nun, adopted the name Gaia Sofia Mother and quit the path a year later. Netizens trolled Sana for choosing the path and felt she will quit the path, just like Sofia pretty soon.

After much trolling and comparison, Sofia spoke to an entertainment portal about the same. She reacted to the entire scenario and said, "I am fed up with my comparison to Sana Khan. What is wrong with some people. They think spirituality is all about what dress you wear! When I was a nun I did not have sex for 18 months. Now, I do not wear my nun's outfit everyday...does not make me less spiritual. I am more spiritual in my nudity than fully dressed, low-minded and low vibrational people, do not understand this. I have not had sex in 3 years. I am still Mother Sofia and still spiritual. Do you think all the temples and ancient lands I have activated, have not had an effect? Do you think the effect goes when you change your clothes?"

Sofia asked people to support Sana and leave her alone. "Can someone educate the small minds please? They are the fake spiritualists who think they know God, when they know only the work of comparing and judging and talking bad about people. The people who do this are not spiritual at all. Leave Sana alone. She can do what she wants, when she wants. How many of you cover your head in a temple and then you take the cover off when you leave the temple? You are hypocrites. This whole planet is a temple and you must respect every person on it. If you think you have the power to judge others,  walk a day in my footsteps, and you might learn something," Sofia added.

Sofia, on Instagram, shared a video about the same and slammed trollers by writing, "Stand up to fake spiritualists I am trending in the media news stories again. You all have to stand up for people.like Sana and myself when trolls think they have a right to judge you! If any of you see anyone being trolled or judged by small minded people..make a stand for them. We do not let trolls and bullies decide what is right!"
