Poonam Pandey refutes reports of getting booked for violating Coronavirus lockdown rules, says 'I had a movie marathon last night’

Model Poonam Pandey, along with a friend, was reportedly booked for lockdown violation by the Marine Drive police, and later released. Poonam and her friend Sam Ahamad Bombay were zipping around town in a flashy new luxury car on Sunday around 8.05 pm. The car was also seized. A case was registered against the two at Marine Drive police station under sections 188 and 269 of the Indian Penal Code and relevant sections of the National Disaster Management Act, as reported by a daily.

However, now she has shared a video on Instagram, claiming that there was no truth to the news, and she was having a movie marathon at home. “Hey guys, I had a movie marathon last night. I watched three movies back-to-back, it was fun. I have been getting calls since last night that I am arrested and I am seeing that in the news as well. Guys, please don’t write that about me. I am home and I am perfectly fine. Love you all,” she said in the video. He caption read as, “Guys I heard I got arrested, While I was having a movie marathon last night."
