Mumbai Police has made two arrests in the murder case of diamond merchant Rajeshwar Udani who went missing on November 28. Sachin Pawar and Dinesh Pawar have been taken into custody by the police.
Interestingly, Sachin Pawar is also the live-in partner of television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who is known for her role of Gopi Bahu in Saath Nibhana Saathiya.

Police interrogated Devoleena before the arrests were made because as per reports, Udani had spoken to her on the day he went missing and had also met her. In fact, Devoleena left Mumbai as soon as Rajeshwar went missing and only came back on being contacted by the police. She also revealed some key points during interrogation which might have helped police make the arrests.
As per sources, Devoleena revealed in the interrogation that she was under immense pressure for the past 7 to 8 months by Udani. Although, the actress did not reveal the reason behind the pressure, but it could be linked to Udani’s sudden disappearance, following which the police investigated further, only to find his dead body near Panvel area of Navi Mumbai. The fact that Rajeshwar was also a BJP activist has made police extra cautious about the case.
