The evening - make that late night - of November 4 saw Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri opening the doors of their plush Bandra residence Mannat for some merriment. Kicking off the season of Diwali parties, Khan and his better half were the first ones to have the honour of hosting the creme de la creme from the world of gloss n' glam. Colour-coordinated in black (and gold), King Khan, Gauri along with children Suhana and AbRam redefined regalness, ravishing and spelt all things royale.
Revelling in the fever of the bonanza, Gauri shared a photo series that features the gene pool in one frame. However, missing out on the action was the couple's eldest born, son Aryan. And albeit Shah Rukh may have been busy keeping his bevy of guests at comfort last night, the very post put up by his wifey dearest made him 'suddenly miss lil Aryan.' The gorgeous Mamma captioned the tweet saying "Mood lighting this Diwali" along with the hashtag Gauri Khan Designs. Check out the banter here:

The star-studded affair saw the attendance of Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jacqueline Fernandes, Karisma Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Mira Rajput, Shahid Kapoor, Aamir Khan and many others. Although the party went on till wee hours, inside photographs, selfies and videos dominated the internet throughout Saturday night followed by the entire Sunday. No points for guessing who takes home the Most Trending trophy home this week!
Speaking of the week, Khan has had quite a great one! He rang in his 53rd with his inner circle and industry friends while the trailer of his next film Zero broke a record. The glimpse of Aanand L. Rai directorial raked in 54 million views on YouTube in just 24 hours - tell us if we wrong to say it has BLOCKBUSTER written all over it!
