Older men-younger women concept is widely accepted in society: Tabu on the plot of De De Pyaar De

The trailer of Ajay Devgn’s and Tabu’s De De Pyaar De has been released and the plot of the film is a humorous take on a 50-year-old man’s affair with a 26-year-old girl, played by Rakul Preet Singh. Asked about the concept of the film, Tabu said cinema reflects everything that is accepted in the society and subsequently, in the world.

“Whatever is accepted in society, films will reflect that. The older men-younger women concept or phenomenon is more widely accepted in the world and in the society, so we see more of it on stage. I am sure the society’s choices, the way we live, will reflect in cinema. Cinema is not happening in isolation,” Tabu said at the trailer launch of De De Pyaar De in Mumbai on April 2.
