Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Kannada actor Sudeep began filming the second schedule of Dabangg 3 in Mumbai’s Filmcity today, a leading daily reports. A set including a house has been constructed in Filmcity for the shoot. Sources told the daily that Salman will shoot an outdoor schedule on the first day while filming will move to Wai after two months.
“On the first day, Salman will shoot for an outdoor action sequence in Malad. Sudeep, who plays the villain, will be joining in later in the Mumbai schedule. After the two-month schedule, the team will be heading to Wai, where the songs will also be filmed. But that will happen only after the monsoons,” a source was quoted as saying by the daily.
Salman, in fact, might also shoot for a song in Jaipur but no confirmation has been provided on that so far.
Dabangg 3 began filming in Madhya Pradesh in April and the team shot for 13 days in Maheshwar. Reports suggest that Dabangg 3 is set in two different eras and will accordingly feature Salman in “two different looks shuttling between the past and the present”.
Dabangg casts Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey, a police officer who has his own way of dealing with corruption.
Directed by Prabhudheva, Dabangg 3 is expected to release in December.
