Katrina Kaif’s ‘gyaan’ dialogue in Bharat Trailer inspire several hilarious memes; sample these!

The trailer of Bharat, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, released on April 22 to much acclaim and certain dialogues and scenes in the film have already become a subject of memes. Bharat casts Salman in the titular role and features the actor in five characters as the film narrates his journey from 1960 to 2010 as a stunt artiste at the circus to a coal miner, navy officer and an ageing man.

Katrina Kaif stars as Madame Sir and also plays Salman’s love interest in the film. Her dialogue in the trailer in which she asks Bharat to inform his full name, has been a hit across Twitter. In the particular scene in the trailer, Salman visits the office to apply for a job as Madame Sir asks him, “Naam aur umar bolo,” and he responds saying, “Bharat", to which she adds, "Bharat, kya?"

Bharat, thereafter says that his father had named him after the country and if he adds a surname to it, “toh iss naam ka izzat chhota padh jaayega.” Katrina listens carefully and adds a cutting riposte, “Jiss naukri ke liye aap aaye hain, usme itne bhaari gyaan ki zaroorat bilkul nahi hai.”

Bharat is an official adaptation of 2014 South Korean film Ode To My Father. It is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also stars Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Tabu and Nora Fatehi, and is scheduled to release on Eid 2019.
