Filmmaker David Dhawan is all set to helm the remake of his hit film Coolie No 1. Varun Dhawan will be stepping into the shoes of veteran Govinda, who featured in the 1995 film while Sara Ali Khan will be filling in for Karisma Kapoor from the original. It was onyl yesterday that the makers unveiled an interesting motion poster of Varun. In the peek-a-boo poster, Varun is seen as a modern version porter of the late 1990s' coolie as he carries one too many Louis Vuitton luggage bags and suitcases. Amidst his balancing act of high-end luxury brand baggage, Varun's entire look wasn't revealed.

Now as promised, the first look of Varun in Coolie No 1 is out. Sharing it on social media, the actor wrote, "COOLIE NO1. Haat jao baju aya raju" Well, a goofy Varun donning the iconic Coolie uniform will certainly make your wait for the film, even more difficult. Check it out:

Not just that, Sara's look from the film has also been unveiled. In the second poster, Varun has his leading lady Sara for company who looks stunning in a glamorous avatar. Nonetheless, it would certainly be a delight to watch Varun's quirky avatar as it meets Sara's videshi swag. Moreover, their onscreen chemistry is palpable.
The film has been intriguing the audience ever since it was announced and it recently went on floors in Bangkok, Thailand. Presented by Pooja Entertainment, Coolie No 1 is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. The project, which is David's 45th film, is all set to release on May 1, 2020.
