Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have time and again proven that they are doting partners to each other. Recently, at the Star Screen Awards 2019, DP once again proved that she's just like any other Indian wife. While entering the venue and posing at the red carpet with her Chhapaak director Meghna Gulzar, Deepika endearingly asked the paps about her husband's whereabouts by saying, “Mere pati aake gaye (Has my husband been here already)?” The photographers all laughed together in unison

While Ranveer and Deepika entered separately, they exited the venue together and posed for pictures together. On the red carpet, Ranveer was seen with his Gully Boy co-star Siddharth Chaturvedi and with his Simmba co-star Sara Ali Khan. The actor was honoured with the Best Actor Male award for his performance in Gully Boy and also won the Entertainer of the Year award.
