Ever since Ananya Panday's and Ishaan Khatter's maiden collaboration titled Khaali Peeli was announced, the anticipation to watch the young talents cast their magic onscreen shot up high. As the shoot is in progress, fans are keeping on their toes for interesting updates on this Maqbool Khan directorial. Now, in the latest development, we found out that Ananya and Ishaan shot for demanding stunt sequences without a body double. Well, yes. According to a source close to the development, the actors practiced extensively for the high-octane stunt with the antagonist of Khaali Peeli, Jaideep Ahlawat. Apart from this, Ishaan filmed a long chase sequence during the recent Wai schedule.
"The scene required Ishaan to jump off a huge pick-up vehicle and slide through 30 meters on the ground. The duo practiced extensively for the scene before filming it. During the shoot, Ishaan also filmed a long chase sequence in the narrow by-lanes of Wai," the source told.
The director of Khaali Peeli, Maqbool, who marks his debut with the thriller, told that action sequences were shot over 10 days wherein Ananya and Ishaan pulled off difficult stunts. "It's been a rigorous few days where we shot action sequences over 10 days. Ishaan and Ananya have pulled off some demanding stunts," Maqbool told.
Ali Abbas Zafar, Zee Studios and Himanshu Mehra produced Khaali Peeli starring Ananya, Ishaan and Jaideep is scheduled to release on June 12, 2020.
