Tabu to dance to the recreated version of Vidya Balan's 'Ami Je Tomar' from 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' in its sequel?

Anees Bazmee, with the news of bringing the sequel of Priyadarshan directed Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) to screens, created a positive stir across. As the cast of the film which includes names like Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu will head to Rajasthan for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's second schedule, fans are keeping on their toes to delve deeper into details. Now, as per the latest development, Tabu is said to recreate Vidya Balan's popular dance sequence on the song Ami Je Tomar from the first film. According to reports of a leading daily, Tabu will be dancing to the Bengali song which has been retained along with the title track. Ami Je Tomar was performed by Vidya and South actor Vineeth, who were classical dancers and also loved each other. However, at the end of the song, Raja Vibhuti Narayan(Shiney Ahuja), who was in love in Vidya's Manjulika, beheaded Vineeth aka Shashidhar. Shocked, Manjulika committed suicide inside a room and swore that her spirit will never let any King live peacefully.

“In the recreated version, we will see Tabu performing on the same number. She’s really excited and looking forward to it. Like the original, the music of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 too will be a chartbuster,” the source told.

Talking about the shoot location, the source said that the team will firstly shoot in Jaipur and will head to Lucknow wherein a palace has been locked for the crucial and maximum portions. The team will wrap the second schedule by mid-April and will unite for a small portion in Mumbai later. “Anees and his team checked out a lot of havelis before zeroing in on this one. The second schedule is expected to wrap up by mid-April. A small portion will be shot in Mumbai at a later date,” the source added.

The prequel was directed by Priyadarshan and featured Vidya, Akshay Kumar and Shiney in central roles along with Ameesha Patel, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and others in important roles. The film was inspired by Rajinikanth's 2005 Tamil film Chandramukhi, which itself was a remake of Mohanlal's 1993 Malayalam film Manichitrathazu. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is said to be a ghost story and bears no resemblance to the original. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani and is scheduled to release on July 31, 2020.
