Forever indebted: Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Sonu Sood and others pay homage to Galwan Valley martyrs

In a brutal face-off with China, at least 20 Indian army personnel were martyred. The face-off happened in the evening and night of June 15 in Ladakh's Galwan Valley. According to reports, casualties are on both sides and reportedly 43 Chinese soldiers have been injured. With the brutal face-off sending the nation into mourning, Bollywood celebrities offered condolences to the martyrs. Celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Sonu Sood, Vicky Kaushal, Amitabh Bachchan and others remembered the Indian soldiers for their sacrifice. 

Akshay, on Twitter, wrote, "Deeply saddened by the death of our bravehearts in #GalwanValley. We will forever be indebted to them for their invaluable service to the nation. My heartfelt condolences to their families"

Hrithik tweeted, "It leaves me with a heavy heart to know of the lives lost in Ladakh & the unrest we are faced with. Our defence stands tall on ground. My highest respect to the martyred in the line of duty. Condolences & prayers for their families. May the departed & living find peace."

Mr. Bachchan wrote on Twitter, " ; , .. they sacrificed their lives to protect our country , to keep us safe and secure. SALUTE Indian Army Officers and Jawans ! JAI HIND"

Sonu remembered one of the martyrs and tweeted, "Santosh babu.. you will remain in our hearts forever. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten. We Salute you and your family for what you did for our nation"

Vicky tweeted, "I salute our bravehearts who fought courageously at the Galwan Valley and made the supreme sacrifice for the honour of our nation. My heartfelt condolences to their families. Jai Hind."

Varun Dhawan tweeted, "Heartbroken about the death of our brave soldiers. #GalwanValley. Our defence stands it’s ground. We are forever indebted to the sacrifice of our brave soldiers."

Rakul Preet Singh offered condolence and tweeted, "Just at loss of words for what 2020 has subjected us to. The brave hearts Martyred at the comes as another terrible news . My heart goes out to their families . The nation salutes you what will it take for peace to prevail !!"

Sonakshi Sinha, on Twitter, said, "We will forever be indebted to you’ll and all those who fight for us putting their lives at stake. With utmost respect, deepest condolences to their families."

Yami Gautam tweeted, " Heartfelt condolences to the families of our brave soldiers who got martyred. We are deeply indebted to our Indian Army for their sacrifice and always upholding the security & integrity of the Nation. But really praying for peace & hope Jai Hind"

Neha Dhupia wrote, "Condolences to the families of the soldiers who laid their lives down in #Galwanvalley ... we are indebted to these brave hearts for life ... Jai hind"

Ravi Kishan, Nimrat Kaur, Adnan Sami, Sophie Choudry and Himansh Kohli offered their condolences too.
