Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, breathed his last, on June 14. He died by suicide. Three days after a tearful cremation, Sushant's ashes were immersed in the Ganga by his family. 

The asthi visarjan ritual was performed by family members including his father KK Singh and elder sisters today. Sushant's elder sister Shweta Singh Kirti, who stays in the US with her family post marriage, informed his fans across the world about the deceased actor's asthi visarjan taking place today. She reached Patna on Wednesday.

As per reports, Sushant's industry friends are planning a prayer meet for him in Mumbai. Workwise, he was seen in Nitesh Tiwari's Chhichhore and his last film Dil Bechara will be getting an OTT release soon. However, fans are requesting the makers to give it a theatrical release as a befitting tribute to the actor.
