Akshay Kumar's and Vaani Kapoor's Bell Bottom is one of the highly anticipated and awaited films. The high-end espionage thriller directed by Ranjit M Tiwari is scheduled to release on April 2, 2021. The shoot of the film, due to the lockdown, was reportedly delayed. Now, as the industry gears up to resume work after three months of lockdown, the team of Bell Bottom is all set to commence shooting. Well, yes.
Bell Bottom will be the first Bollywood film to start after the lockdown. The first schedule will go on floors in August with the team heading to the United Kingdom. Sharing the announcement, Akshay, on Instagram, posted a picture with the entire cast and crew. Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta have joined the cast of Bell Bottom. "Looking forward to doing what we do best! Time we get back to work! #Bellbottom to go on floors next month," Akshay wrote.
As per reports, Akshay plays the role of a spy and Vaani is his wife. Bell Bottom is produced by Jackky Bhagnani's, Vashu Bhagnani's and Deepshikha Deshmukh's Pooja Entertainment in association with Emmay Entertainment. The story written by Aseem Arora and Pervez Shaikh is said to be inspired by true events.
