You will forever live on in your undisputed legacy of music: Salman Khan 'heartbroken' after his voice SP Balasubrahmanyam's demise

Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam breathed his last on Friday. Singers, actors, filmmakers and other artistes and craftspersons associated with the film industry took to social media accounts to express their grief at the demise of the 74-year-old Padma Bhushan award-winning singer. He suffered a cardio-respiratory arrest today. SPB is survived by wife Savitri, a son S.P. Charan - a movie producer and playback singer, and daughter Pallavi.

Now, Salman Khan has expressed his grief on Twitter. Salman and SPB were considered to be the most hit pair in the '90s. Many songs of Balasubrahmanyam that were picturised on Salman proved to be hits. The winning pair gave their fans several memorable songs. Paying his last respect to the singer, Salman tweeted, "Heartbroken to hear about #SPBalasubrahmanyam sir... you will forever live on in your undisputed legacy of music! condolence to the family #RIP".

Salman had also tweeted praying for SPB's speedy recovery last night. He had written, "Bala Subramaniam sir . All the strength hope wishes from the bottom of my heart to a speedy recovery n thank u for every song u sang fr me n made special your dil dewana hero prem, Love u sir." 

Unfortunately, the singer passed away today.
