Dream big, anything can happen: Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Bollywood celebrates Joe Biden-Kamala Harris' win

Democrat leaders Joe Biden and Kamala Harris emerged victorious in the US presidential election 2020. This not just brought in cheers and applause from citizens of the US but also celebrities across the globe. Defeating Donald Trump, Biden became the 46th President of the US. Kamala created history by becoming the first woman and Indian-American to preside over the seat of the Vice President. 

Soon after the election results were out, Bollywood celebrities lauded and congratulated Biden and Kamala for the win. Priyanka Chopra Jonas was among the first celebrities to congratulate them. "America spoke in record breaking numbers and the verdict is in... EVERY VOTE counts. I applaud everyone who voted in what was such a powerful display of how a democracy should function. It was amazing to witness this election in the US. Congrats to the President Elect @joebiden and Vice President elect @kamalaharris, the first woman VP! Dream Big girls! Anything can happen!!  #DemocracyRocks Congratulations America," she wrote on Instagram.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Suhana Khan extended their support and good wishes to Biden and Kamala on their Instagram stories.

Yami Gautam tweeted, "In true sense #empoweringwomen Hope this thought inspires each one of us, regardless of our respective professional fields."

Richa Chadha, on Twitter, wrote, "#KamalaHarris zindabad"

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Nimrat Kaur and Swara Bhasker also congratulated the new POTUS and Vice President.
