Okay, here’s a tidbit of information PeepingMoon.com has got directly from the Maldives Islands in the Indian Ocean where Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are currently soaking in the surf and taking in the sun. The cosy couple which all of Bollywood believes is pukka getting married on April 19 (and a Catholic wedding in church, it is being said) is not doing anything of the sort.
In fact, Malaika and Arjun are as amused by the rumour as they are curious about who spread it and is giving details to the media about a wedding that’s not taking place. Not taking place on April 19, for sure – because the couple is almost certain to tie the knot at some date in the future. It is also not true, therefore, that Malaika’s holiday in the Maldives is her bachelorette party. The gorgeous actress is reportedly just a guest of a five-star beach resort in the archipelago.
According to a source close to Malaika, if the wedding takes place this year, then it is likely to happen after Arjun’s film Panipat releases in December. The actor is busy on this historical period drama by Ashutosh Gowariker in which he plays the character of Sadashiv Rau Bhau who was the commander-in-chief of the Maratha Army in the third Battle of Panipat. And Arjun cannot afford to take a long break to get married at the moment.
