The Mumbai Police are trying to tie up all loose ends in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide investigation. PeepingMoon.com has reliably learned that the investigators yesterday questioned the suburban estate agent who got the Bollywood actor the rental apartment in tony Mont Blanc on Carter Road.
The estate agent is believed to have told the police that the rent agreement had been drawn up in December 2019 for three years in the names of Sushant and his friend Rhea Chakraborty. He showed documentary proof of this.
It is said that the couple had evinced interest in getting married when they were house hunting. They were shown several flats on the fourth and fifth floors of high storied apartments. But Sushant wanted something higher.

After a long and exhaustive search, the couple is reported to have zeroed in on the sixth floor duplex in Mont Blanc. According to the agent, both liked it at once and Sushant transferred the entire rent in one shot to the owner’s bank account.
Understanding that Sushant wanted to buy a sea-facing home after marriage, the agent proposed a celebrity tower in Worli as well, but it was Rhea who reportedly wanted to stay in between Bandra and Andheri.
