After Krushna Abhishek, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain fame Shilpa Shinde enters politics; joins congress

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain fame and Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde has entered politics and joined Rahul Gandhi's Indian National Congress. The TV actress who had won several hearts with her daily soap Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain is now all set to try her hands in politics. Reliable sources have now confirmed to PeepingMoon.com that Shilpa has been approached by Sanjay Nirupam (MP, Indian National Congress). Earlier, several TV actresses and film stars were also seen entering politics. The biggest example from the telly world would be Smriti Irani who started off her career as an actress in 2000 with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi after which she joined politics and is currently the Textiles Minister and MP (Bhartiya Janta Party). Recently, comedian Krushna Abhishek has also entered politics and joined Congress.

Shilpa has an immense fan following, not only in Maharashtra but in the entire nation. Sources added that the actress will either contest elections from Mumbai or any other city in Maharashtra from the Indian Congress Party. Currently, Shilpa is busy with her debut film which is Iulia Vantur starrer Radha Kyon Gori Main Kyon Kaala. The actress will also be seen in Marathi show titled Chhatriwali in a cameo.
