Fashion maven and celebrated Masaba Gupta is all set to mark her foray in acting with Netflix’s Masaba Masaba. The fictionalised series is written and directed by Sonam Nair and will premiere on the OTT giant on August 28, 2020.
Ahead of its release, Masaba has an intriguing and exciting challenge waiting for all the fans and fashionistas and honestly, that was THE pandemic challenge we all were waiting for!
Opening the challenge Gupta showed us two of her hottest and newest looks that kept her going in these trying times of global pandemic. First up was her ‘HOT MESS’ look in a bright yellow kaftan that bore her signature bold prints. She accessorized the outfit with a pair of silver chunky jewellery that added an indie element to her look.

Keeping her glam understated, she rounded off her look with a poker-straight mane. Masaba stated that this look is especially for the days when she is bloated or doesn’t feel like getting out of the bed. “This look really picks me up and makes me feel better, she said.

Her second look called ‘TOO HOT TO HANDLE’, was indeed made up of sugar, spice and all things nice. Asymmetrical red dress bearing a plunging neckline and bold prints…ooh la la! Opting for minimal accessories she rounded off her look with a pair of statement pearl earrings. “This look screams power and makes me feel like I’m on top of the world,” Masaba stated.

Concluding the video, the designer turned actress gave a quirky statutory warning that cannot be ignored. “All the stunts in this video were performed out of sheer boredom and self-love. So please try them at home.” She also extended the challenge to her fans and asked them to show her how they OWN it!
