The leading ladies of Bollywood not only inspire the masses with their body of work but also influence their sartorial choices by giving major style goals all the time. From airport and gym looks to film promotions and brand endorsements, the crème de la crème of B-town always manages to descend in all its finery.

With the half of the year already passed, the first half of 2018 saw the ladies put their best foot forward. From fashionistas like Sonam Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra to young stars like Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan, the glamour quotient was at its peak in the tinsel town.

While it would be nearly impossible to pick one favorite female celeb from Bollywood who totally wowed us, so we went back all the way to January 2018 and picked out some best looks from the lot since then, until now.

Alia Bhatt

Alia is undoubtedly one of the best-dressed actresses in Bollywood. Her fashion sense is more girly, fuss-free and chic but always elegant. She also keeps experimenting with her hair and makeup. Be it the Sabyasachi lehenga she wore at Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja reception or the Raw Mango yellow and green lehenga, she certainly knows how to carry herself with grace. Her looks during her last release Raazi were also one of our favourites in the first half of the year.

Sonam Kapoor

It won't be wrong to say that Sonam is B-town's favourite fashionista. In fact, she hogs more limelight for her looks wherever she goes. Be it her experimental sense of fashion or wearing new designer labels, she impresses everyone with her sartorial picks. From the light blue distressed denim sari by designer Diksha Khanna that Sonam wore during Veere Di Wedding promotions or the pink pantsuit from Bouguessa, you can always count on Sonam to make a statement and leave us inspired.

Kangana Ranaut

Kangana is as famous for her films as for her impeccable sense of style. Her fashion picks have always been unconventional and she leaves her mark. We totally love her inner bad girl vibe in a red leather dress by Nanushka at her Cannes debut this year and the off-shoulder top and the skirt ensemble. Apart from that, she is known to carry the six-yard with so much grace and we must say, she is the epitome of bold and beautiful.

Anushka Sharma

Anushka's sense of style has always been comfortable. She is usually seen in a tank-top, denim and sneakers kinda look. But when she dresses, she dresses to impress. Her best looks in the first half of the year have been classy and subtle with a lot of cut-out details. Be it her boss-lady look in embellished flared pants or pink floor-length ensemble, we totally love her style.

Priyanka Chopra

Taking both Bollywood and Hollywood by storm, Priyanka Chopra has been making headlines for years, and now for her sense of style. She walks the streets of NYC as if it is a fashion runway, dressed up in the best of labels. This year, she charmed us with a beige shimmery gown by Dior which she wore at the Royal Wedding. The actress also looked stunning in a Tarun Tahiliani couture saree at the Mehendi ceremony of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, which she attended with beau Nick Jonas.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika's style has evolved over the years and this year too, she was seen in some wonderful ensembles. From her Maison Margiela and Alexander Mc Queen outfit, as she headed for Cannes 2018 to her Monique Lhuillier summery dress, Deepika surely impressed us with her sartorial picks.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Whatever Kareena Kapoor Khan wears becomes a style statement because she's the ultra-glam begum of Bollywood. Be it Indian wear or her glamorous gowns, she impresses us every time with her fashion sense. Dressed in Pinnacle by Shruti Sancheti, Kareena looked super-hot in a hand-embroidered ensemble for Veere Di Wedding promotions. Her cut-out gown with a thigh-high slit from Prabal Gurung also made the mark for one of the best looks of 2018.

Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline is experimental when it comes to fashion and wears everything, from hot shorts to jumpsuits to gowns and sarees. Her fun bubbly personality reflects in her style as well. During Race 3 promotions, she was seen in a cropped jacket and pants look and thigh-high slit dress was paired with an off shoulder denim jacket from Appapop. We totally loved both the looks. Also, her Manish Malhotra sari at BFF Sonam Kapoor's reception is worth a mention.

Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa not only boasts of a perfect hourglass figure, her sartorial choices are elegant and experimental at the same time. Be it wearing ethnic or western attire, the fitness enthusiast has been a style icon for years. We cannot get over her Sukriti and Akriti ensemble which she wore at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding ceremony. Her pantsuit and skirt and crop top outfit are also admirable.

Katrina Kaif

From looking oh-so-gorgeous in a beige and white ensemble with silver embroidery to opting for a beige lehenga with red floral sequinned embroidery, Katrina made heads turn at Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja's wedding functions. Her pink dress from Mytheresa.com also made her look super-sexy.

The young starlets: Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan

Even before her much-awaited debut in Dhadak, Janhvi has become a renowned name for her sense of fashion. During the promotions, she impressed us by opting for a white lace top and skirt from Luisa Beccaria. She was a vision in white in a Tarun Tahiliani attire at Sonam Kapoor's wedding festivities. Her embroidered pantsuit also is worth a mention.

Another debutant who is making the ways with her style is Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan. She looked ethereal in an orange-hued shimmery lehenga choli at the engagement party of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta in Mumbai. She also wowed us with by opting for a bright yellow flounce sleeves shirt from Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla label at Kedarnath's wrap up party and of course, her embellished sari look is totally topping the charts.
