The first season of Netflix Original Sacred Games, co-directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane and starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles, was hailed by the audience for its gritty plot and power-packed performances. Ever since then, the fans are waiting to see a sequel to and interestingly, the makers revealed on March 19, “Calendar Nikaal, Tareekh Likh Le, 14 Din Mein Kuch Bada Hone Wala Hai,” thereby making everyone eager to know what is in the store for them.
Post that, Netflix shared pictures of different mandala designs with four names which read as, Bidalah-a-Gita, Katham Asti, Antara Mahavana and Unagamam. But amidst all the excitement, the makers have another surprise for you as Kalki Koechlin has been roped in play a pivotal role in the Saif and Nawazuddin starrer web show, as reported by a trade portal.
As we all know that Pankaj Tripathi is already a part of the next season and now with the addition of Kalki to the interesting cast, Sacred Games 2 is certainly the show to watch out for.
For those caught unaware, Sacred Games is based on Vikram Chandra's best-selling novel of the same name and revolves around Sartaj Singh, a seasoned Mumbai police officer and Ganesh Gaitonde, criminal overlord of the G-Company. The second season of the show will be co-directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan.
