Bhumi Pednekar's Durgamati is one of the highly anticipated films of the year. The supernatural thriller will release on December 11, 2020, on Amazon Prime Video. Now, as the release date is inching closer, the makers released the trailer on social media. The 3 minutes 20 second trailer will leave you spell-bound and thrilled.
Durgamati features Bhumi as Chanchal Chauhan, a Government Officer. She is in police custody for being close to a politician who is worshipped by citizens. However, investigating officers take her to Durgamati mansion, known for paranormal activities. While Chanchal is being investigated, she is possessed by the spirit of Durgamati.

Directed by Ashok G, produced by Vikram Malhotra and presented by Akshay Kumar and Bhushan Kumar, Durgamati is the official Hindi adaptation of Anushka Shetty's Telugu superhit Bhaagamathie. The film also stars Arshad Warsi, Jisshu Sengupta and Mahie Gill.
