Acclaimed Bollywood and Hollywood actor Irrfan breathed his last at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Wednesday early morning. He was 54-years-old. The critically acclaimed actor was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday due to a colon infection. The actor is survived by his wife, Sutapa Sikder, and sons Babil and Ayan.
PeepingMoon got in touch with Irrfan's Angrezi Medium co-star Deepak Dobriyal who was extremely sad to hear the news. Talking to us he said, "We shared a great bond, he wanted me to work with him in all his films because we had such an amazing chemistry."
Irrfan's funeral rites, according to Islamic practice, took place with nine from Irrfan's family and the others being friends and wellwishers.
