Vidya Balan's Shakuntala Devi is one of the highly anticipated films of the year. Based on the life of human calculator Shakuntala Devi, the biographical film is directed by Anu Menon and will premiere on Amazon Prime Video from July 31. As the premiere date is inching closer, Jisshu Sengupta, who plays the role of Shakuntala's husband Paritosh Bannerji, spoke to PeepingMoon.com in an exclusive virtual conversation.
The multilingual actor, who was worked in Bollywood, Bengali cinema, South film industry along with television and theatre, spoke about essaying the role of an IAS officer from Kolkata. Speaking of being 'the man' behind successful women onscreen, Jisshu opened up on his equation with his co-star Vidya on and off the screen.
