In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon, Sarah Jane Dias confirmed season 2 of Tandav, talked about playing Saif Ali Khan’s ‘dedicated wife’, the show’s political nature and how it resonates with every democratic setup.
Talking about the political nature of the show, the actress said, "Tandav is about India’s democracy so there will be comparisons drawn. What happens in the show happens in every democratic system in the world."
Produced by Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Ali Abbas Zafar, Tandav is created and directed by Ali who makes his digital directorial debut with this series. The 9-episode engrossing political drama is written by Gaurav Solanki and features a stellar ensemble cast including Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Dino Morea Kumud Mishra, Gauahar Khan, Amyra Dastur, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Kritika Kamra, Sarah Jane Dias, Sandhya Mridul, Annup Sonii, Hitten Ttejwani, Paresh Pahuja and Shonali Nagrani among others. Along with Ali, Tandav also marks the digital debut of Dimple and Kritika and presents actors Saif, Zeeshan and Sunil in never before seen avatars.
