Would love to play the role of a snooker or a chess player if offered another sports film: Farhan Akhtar

The man who wears multiple hats, Farhan Akhtar recently landed a powerful punch with the success of his boxing drama Toofaan. Celebrating the film's success with PeepingMoon.com, Farhan explained why he opted to go under rigorous training and drastic physical transformation than using VFX, the inspiration he derives from Sylvester Stallone and Rocky I, and the reason he refused to direct the film despite the plot being his idea.

He also discusses the relevant political issues Toofaan sheds light on and why such matters need to be addressed in times of unrest. Farhan also shared that what will be his hattrick sports collaboration with director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, after essaying the part of a runner and a boxer!

After collaborating for the 2013 hit biographical sports drama Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar reunited for yet another sports drama Toofaan. The film released on July 16, 2021, and received critical acclaim.
