In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon, Faissal Khan talked about his Bollywood comeback project Faactory, turning director with the film, quitting the film industry after facing rejections, being recognized as Aamir Khan’s brother, stepping out of his shadow & more!
Talking about Aamir, Faissal said, "Aamir is one of the superstars of our country so it’s a natural thing for people to say ‘aree uska bhai jaa raha hai'. Tomorrow if I become more famous, people will say Faissal ka bhai Aamir jaa raha hai. Even I want to earn my daily bread, how do I do that if people link me with Aamir only. I would love to step out of Aamir Khan’s shadow."
Directed by Faissal, Faactory will be released by M&S Films Production in association with Entertainment Films LLP, Flamingo Films and Gauri Films on September 3, 2021, pan India. Produced by Maryam, Salim Babu Ibrahim, Sharad Singh and Safaraz Shariff, the story, screenplay & dialogue is by Faissal Khan, Amit Gupta and Maryam.
