There is no smoke without fire, right? However, in the Bigg Boss house, this does not stand true as there can be a lot of smoke without any fire rising out of personal grudge and revenge. So the entire drama that unfolded about Sreesanth and Anup claiming that they saw a video of Surbhi smoking in the bathroom and Jasleen adding her own version of being an eye witness to the whole thing, and going on to say that she saw cigarette burns on the tissue roll inside were false. Host Salman Khan was visibly upset the way Surbhi was targeted and he decided to come to her rescue. Not just Surbhi, Salman also came to Saba’s recuse and revealed the truth about whether she had told Deepak about her secret or not.
Basically, Salman was on mission expose, so he exposed Sreesanth, Anup and Jasleen and stood by Surbhi and Saba.
Here’s all that happened with Salman at Weekend Ka Vaar:
Salman started the show by giving the audience a sneak peek of what happened in the house last week. Surbhi kept to her words that she will make life a living hell for Sreesanth inside the jail. It was actually Sreesanth who instigated the housemates against Surbhi by saying that she saw a video clip where she was smoking in the bathroom. Surbhi was seen taunting and troubling Sreesanth and truly making it difficult for him to remain confined in the jail. Often, Sree asked Bigg Boss to intervene. Dipika, at one point, tried talking to Surbhi to calm her down. Surbhi cried and said that her emotions are extreme and that she felt betrayed by her so-called friends especially Deepak. Meanwhile, Deepak and Shivashish were of the opinion that Surbhi was doing unnecessary drama after being caught. Sreesanth claimed that he got Rs 2.5 crore for doing what he is doing.

Salman didn’t seem too happy about his tall claim. Salman made it clear that it was nothing like that and that Sree should think hard before he mutters something like this. Salman then went on to prove Surbhi’s truth. He said that Surbhi was innocent and that she was not really smoking in the bathroom. He said that there is no truth to whatever Sreesanth, Jasleen and Anup have claimed and which will be proved later on the show.
Salman said that Anup has shown a lot of maturity. Anup said he knew all about her famous celebrity affair. Salman asked the band to play a song for Jasleen and they played Chaiya Chaiya. Was that an indication of Salman saying that Jasleen was in a relationship with Sukhwinder Singh?

Salman congratulated Shivashish for becoming the captain of the house. Shivashish and Salman had fun discussing someone stealing clothes and underwear’s in the house. Salman also questioned Sreesanth for his performance. Sree said that he has had twelve operations on both his toes. He is always in terrible pain for the same. In fact, he took 20 minutes to start his normal morning routine.
Salman wasn’t too convinced and asked Surbhi her thoughts on the same. Surbhi said that it wasn’t the injury why Sree decided to quit. He pretended to be in pain and majorly because of Romil’s taunt. Surbhi said that if he had the injury how could he walk the trade mill the next day at the speed of 10 for 40 minutes even when he knew that Deepak had hidden horse cap and that it won’t really count? Secondly, she said that if Sreesanth was so unwell then why did he choose to be awake the entire night and chat with Deepak? Surbhi was of the opinion that Sree only wanted the attention on himself by hook or by crook. Hence he did the drama that he did.
Salman also questioned the housemates that when Sree gets upset almost the whole house cajoled him but if Surbhi Rana loses it then nobody even bothers, why this special treatment towards one? Jasleen said that Surbhi gets very aggressive and she scares everyone with her ways. Anup sided with her and agreed. He said that he was so scared of Surbhi that he did not want to sleep next to her.
Salman also told everyone that the entire smoking episode was a conspiracy that Sree made to put Surbhi behind the bars as he had his own vested interest. Jasleen justified and narrated the incident where Surbhi asked her to stay low when she confronted her to not smoke in the bathroom. Surbhi broke down and said that in this country, there is still a taboo against girls smoking and she didn’t want all of this to come out on national television as she is sure that her mother watched the show and she did not want to her mom. Salman played the video clip where Jasleen confronted Surbhi for smoking in the bathroom. Nowhere, in the clip, it remotely showed that Surbhi was smoking in the bathroom. In fact, when Jasleen confronted her, they were talking about the smell of the smoke from her. Surbhi thanked Salman for bringing the truth out.

Anup, thereafter, said that Romil gave everyone the idea that the bathroom is a good place to sleep and hence they drew the conclusion. Secondly, he said that Surbhi was always the first choice for the kaalkothari due to her abusive language and her atrocious behaviour which she displayed after the smoking incident came out. Anup again went on to say that Surbhi should be out of the show for the same. He added that she is a threat to the housemates and that he was scared to even sleep next to her. Surbhi curtly replied to Anup’s comment by saying that she has no interest in sleeping next to him as she fears being infected by diplomacy.

Salman took a break and told the audience that behind his back the housemates will bound to get into a massive argument. Jasleen was heard saying that Surbhi is too much to handle and she didn’t even feel like apologising to her because of her attitude. Saba, Somi, Deepak and Shivashish talked about how Jasleen gas lighted the whole situation which Anup and Sree created. They sure were left with a pinch of guilt.
Salman entered the house and started pulling Karanveer‘ leg. KV was nominated by Bigg Boss as he decided to go to the kaalkothari. KV said that he was an emotional fool to take the decision. Salman said that the audience decided to save the emotional fool and said that he was safe.
Salman then patched in the caller of the week who questioned Jasleen. He asked Jasleen about her strategy and plan and said that how can she think of being a leader when she cannot even defend herself. Jasleen said that she is not playing with a plan or strategy. She was taking each day as it comes. About justifying herself, she said that the incident was learning experience for her.
Salman went back to the people who were nominated. Amongst, Srishty, Urvashi, Saba, Jasleen and Sourabh, he first said that Urvashi and Srishty were safe.
Salman asked the housemates to choose the “Gunehgaar” of the week and maximum people voted for Jasleen and Surbhi. Second choice was Sreesanth and Romil. Finally, Surbhi was decided upon as the Gunehgaar of the week. The punishment was a live fish slapping the person inside a confined space. Surbhi accepted being the “Gunehgaar” but said that since she is a vegetarian she cannot go ahead with the punishment. Salman asked her for the second choice and though technically Jasleen should have gone in but, since she refused, Surbhi said that Romil will do it on her behalf.
Romil entered the torture room and it didn’t look pleasant as he was about to puke due to the smell. Sreesanth went to the garden area and told KV and others that Surbhi was being dramatic about the torture room as she had to do nothing but take the fish hitting her. This would not have challenged her being a vegetarian.
Salman said that he will declare the eviction on Sunday.
Sunday seems to be another interesting Weekend ka Vaar episode as the preview showed a faceoff between Dipika’s husband Shohaib Ibrahim and Sreesanth’s wife Bhuvneshwari. Though Sree and Dipika have buried the hatchet, looks like these two are still mulling over the past.
Also, Sultani Akhada will see Romil and Sreesanth pitted against each other. Tension on Salman’s face was evident as the arch-rivals fought in the akhada.
