The wait for the much-anticipated controversial reality show Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan has finally ended. The show, today, entered into its thirteenth season with a bang. Bigg Boss 13, like the previous seasons, will be hosted by Salman and he is said to be joined by Ameesha Patel. The reality series, that premiered on Colors, introduced its thirteen contestants in a special first-day first show episode. Before welcoming the inmates, Salman performed to the song Slow Motion in the beginning. Soon, he introduced the male contestants of the house namely, Siddharth Shukla, Paras Chhabra, Siddharth Dey, Asim Riaz and Abu Mallik.
Post this, he welcomed the first two female contestants- Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Mahira Sharma. Starting with Devoleena, stunning us in her glam avatar, the actress who shot to fame with her portrayal of Gopi Bahu in the show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. She, for the show, shed her bahu avatar and went all gorgeous.
Mahira, who was last seen in Naagin 3 as Jamini, a witch, made a stunning yet adorable entry. With a bubbly and a girl next door image, she is all set to be the favourite of many.
Bigg Boss 13, unlike last twelve seasons, this installment of the controversial reality show will be shot in Film City in Mumbai instead of Lonavala. Talking about the format of the show, this season will play host to Bollywood and television celebrities and no commoners will be participating. Bigg Boss 13 premieres on September 29, 2019. As per the makers, they will be introducing a tedha twist and oh darling, we are surely waiting to find out.
