The wait for the much-anticipated controversial reality show Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan has finally ended. The show, today, entered into its thirteenth season with a bang. Bigg Boss 13, like the previous seasons, will be hosted by Salman and he is said to be joined by Ameesha Patel. The reality series, that premiered on Colors, introduced its thirteen contestants in a special first-day first show episode. Before welcoming the inmates, Salman performed to the song Slow Motion in the beginning. Soon, he introduced the male contestants of the house namely, Siddharth Shukla, Paras Chhabra, Siddharth Dey, Asim Riaz and Abu Mallik.
A while later, he welcomed the female contestants- Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Mahira Sharma, Rashami Desai, Shehnaaz Kaur Gill and Shefali Bagga. After them, Salman introduced actress Dalljiet Kaur to the show. The actress, who had a bitter divorce with husband Shaleen Bhanot in 2015, said that the show will account to her second innings in life. Upon being asked about finding love again, she said if she gets someone inside the house who is worth her trust, she will definitely go consider. Dalljiet is a single mother to Jaydon, who accompanied her to the sets and bid her a sweet and emotional goodbye.
Bigg Boss 13, unlike last twelve seasons, this installment of the controversial reality show will be shot in Film City in Mumbai instead of Lonavala. Talking about the format of the show, this season will play host to Bollywood and television celebrities and no commoners will be participating. Bigg Boss 13 premiered on September 29, 2019. As per the makers, they will be introducing a tedha twist and oh darling, we are surely waiting to find out.
