14 years ago, on December 12, Bigg Boss 13 contestant Sidharth Shukla created history and became the first and the only Asian to bring the crown to India by winning the Best Model of the World title in Turkey 2005.

The actor won the crown merely at the age of 25 and as per reports, Shukla beated 40 aspirants from across Asia, Latin America and Europe and everybody in the foreign country addressed him as the ‘Indian boy’ and it clearly shows that he went there as Sidharth Shukla but came out as an ‘Indian’ in a foreign country.

Sidharth then made foray into TV, winning hearts with his role in popular daily soap, Balika Vadhu. He later danced his way to audience hearts with Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, and later made his Bollywood debut in Dharma Productions Badrinath Ki Dulhania. 

After taking a sabbatical from showbiz, Sidharth entered into reality TV space, winning Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 7 in 2016. He is currently making headlines with his stint in Bigg Boss 13, emerging out as the most controversial and popular contestant in ongoing show.
