The latest episode began with Vikas Gupta entering into the Bigg Boss 13 house as Sidharth Shukla's connection. Soon he voted for Arti Singh as the interim captain. After greeting everyone, Vikas told Mahira Sharma that she is playing well and Shehnaaz Kaur Gill agreed by saying she is a strong contestant. A while later, Vishal Aditya Singh's brother Kunal entered the house and selected Rashami Desai as the interim captain. Meanwhile, Vikas asked Shehnaaz about the happenings inside the house. Sidharth interrupted and told the former to not touch upon issues that hurt Shehnaaz. The actress told Sidharth that Vikas has the manners to talk and she doesn't mind him asking her. Vishal's brother told him that he gives up on the game when people call him weak.
Later, Vikas revealed to Shehnaaz that Asim has a girlfriend outside the house and before dating Himanshi Khurana, he should break all ties with her. The next person to enter the house was Shefali Jariwala, whose presence didn't go down well with Asim Riaz. She came in as Paras Chhabra's connection and voted for Arti as the interim captain. Shefali, on meeting Asim, passed a sarcastic comment which the latter told Shehnaaz and Himanshi. Soon, Vikas praised Himanshi for not changing sides and supporting Asim. Shefali and Vikas indirectly told Himanshi about Asim's relationship with another girl outside the house. Shefali and Asim got into a tiff over the same.
A while later, Sidharth asked Shehnaaz the reason behind her anger. She then told that Shefali's vibes are an issue for her. Sidharth then scolded her for misbehaving with him. Moments later, Shehnaaz' brother Shehbaaz entered the house with a cake for her to celebrate her birthday. Shehbaaz voted for Sidharth as the interim captain and after discussion, Bigg Boss announced him as the captain this week. Shehbaaz, soon, spoke to Shehnaaz and Sidharth and warned them to stay away from Paras and Mahira as they are planning to create a rift between them.
The next morning, Kashmera Shah spoke to Arti about her feelings for Sidharth. Arti said she doesn't consider Sidharth as the person she can love. Kashmera then told her that Sidharth has husband-life qualities which are seen when he is with Arti and not when with Shehnaaz. The actress replied by saying his temperament doesn't match hers. Kashmera added that she finds him to be a good guy.
