Amid the pandemic, Salman Khan has returned to provide everyone with a dose of entertainment in form of Bigg Boss 14. Nine months after the previous season ended, the superstar is back with a new format and a fresh bunch of contestants. The grand premiere today opened with Salman's speech on the stage. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, there won't be a live audience this year for any episode. Considering the lockdown that confined people to their homes for several months, the makers have provided special amenities like a mall, gym, theatre and spa to the contestants.
The first contestant of Bigg Boss 14 is Eijaz Khan. Sharing a poster of the actor, the makers wrote, "Muscular, popular and also, spectacular! Presenting to you @KhanEijaz on #BiggBoss2020!" Revealing that his friends address him as Gabbar, Eijaz said he gets angry when he sees stupid and unfair people. He further added, "Daddy ne bola kisi ke baap se nahi darna, mai abhi bhi nahi darta." During the episode, he remembered dancing with Salman in 1999 and did his first film and reality show with the superstar.

Eijaz, in an interview recently, spoke about battling mental health issues and said it affected his personal and professional life. He said, "From hating the world, I started hating myself. I tried to find what I didn’t have for real in the characters I played on screen. I would gravitate towards broken men with women in their lives who had gone away or were in some kind of a strained relationship or dead. I was validating my pain through them, thinking that when it ends for them, my pain would also go away."
