Salman Khan's controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14 started with a bang on October 3 with its premiere episode. On Sunday night, the first episode of the housemates aired and it would not be wrong to say that it was an exciting one. This season's 11 contestants are Eijaz Khan, Nikki Tamboli, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Jasmin Bhasin, Nishant Singh Malkani, Shehzad Deol, Sara Gurpal, Jaan Kumar Sanu, Pavitra Punia and Rahul Vaidya. However, out of them, Rubina, Nishant, Sara and Jaan were rejected by toofani seniors Hina Khan, Sidharth Shukla and Gauahar Khan. 

Day 1 of Bigg Boss 14 was all about the Toofani Seniors messing with the contestants and of course, Nikki Tamboli. South Indian actress, Nikki, who entered the house as a bubbly, flirty girl, made sure to kickstart fights on Day 1 itself.

Here are the top 10 highlights from the Day 1 of Bigg Boss 14: 

- Rejected contestants Rubina, Sara, Nishant and Jaan were not allowed inside the house by Toofani Seniors Gauahar, Hina and Sidharth. All 4 rejected contestants were made to be in the 'Rejected Area' that is in the garden area.

- Gauahar guided the kitchen team as she is in control of the kitchen and the contestants can work, cook, or eat as per her wishes. While Hina and Sidharth felt that Gauahar was 'spoon-feeding' the contestants, the BB7 winner said she was only guiding them as it was their Day 1.

- Hina, who is responsible for the personal items of the housemates, played strictly and allowed only 7 items to be given to the rejected contestants. She even planned with other seniors that they must leave the housemates on their own and see what they do.

- Sidharth's contribution was the maximum amongst all 3 seniors on Day 1. While he had the power of the bedroom, he made sure to allot beds in his own funny andaaz. While he tried to flirt a little with Jasmin, he made sure to poke Nikki while allotting the bed.

- While working in the kitchen, Eijaz Khan told Nikki not to wear short clothes and when she responded with a shocked look, he said, “Matlab mana nahi kar raha. Pehno par neeche mat jhuko. Nikki then constantly poked Eijaz after which he got irritated and told her that it is fine if she does not want to be friends with him. 

- Shehzad was heard telling Rahul that Sara is “playing” innocent and kiddish but is not so in real life. He claimed to have met her, at a professional level, two years ago and said that she is not as “bubbly and kiddish” as she is behaving inside the house. Rahul seemed to agree.

- Nikki started an argument with Shehzad over chopping vegetables. While Shehzad told Gauahar about it, Nikki seemed to be stretching the topic and poking him again even after the argument got over. 

- Nikki then had an explosive fight with Jasmin over utensils duty as she said she will not take the duty up as her 'nail will get spoiled'. This made Jasmin super pissed as she argued with Nikki and ended up crying. 

- Later Godwoman Radhe Ma visited the house once again. She asked everyone to make sure never to insult or hurt parents, especially mothers. She also wished happy birthday to Hina and gave special blessings to Jaan and Sidharth.

- Later, Nikki is seen chatting with Jaan talking about Rahul's broken engagement and says he keeps messaging her and sending voice notes. However, towards the end, Eijaz was seen advising Nikki to be better behaved to avoid useless altercations with the housemates.
