Salman Khan's much-awaited Bigg Boss 14 started off with a bang. Bringing in a change in format this year, former contestants Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan joined the new contestants as 'toofani seniors' to guide them for the first 14 days. The contestants for this season are Eijaz Khan, Nikki Tamboli, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Jasmin Bhasin, Nishant Singh Malkani, Shehzad Deol, Sara Gurpal, Jaan Kumar Sanu, Pavitra Punia and Rahul Vaidya. After two days of nonstop entertainment, the third day was rather a chaotic one. The inmates got their first task for the week.
Titled Jewel Thief, the game unleashed the angry side of Sidharth, Gauahar and Eijaz. The task for nominations saw the freshers bonding with each other while Eijaz faced problems with the way senior Sidharth was conducting the task. Rather than guiding them, the Bigg Boss 13 winner found himself amid a heated argument with Eijaz and Gauahar.

Here are the top 10 highlights of Day 3 inside the Bigg Boss 14 house:
- The conversation over who will be given the utensils' duty continued with Eijaz telling Gauahar that he is finding it difficult to wash them. However, after discussing with him, Gauahar came to the conclusion that it will not be feasible to exchange duties in the middle of the week and she will swap them in the coming week.
- Pavitra, who is responsible for cooking meals, told Rahul that he should be taking up more duties apart from cleaning the bathroom. The singer, in response to it, flirted with Pavitra. The actress continued the conversation by saying that she will teach him how to cook. Rahul quipped that there is no other person better than Pavitra to train him in the kitchen.
- Sidharth and Hina were seen discussing that Gauahar is spoonfeeding the freshers and isn't allowing them to be the way they are. Gauahar, in her defence, said that she isn't here to bring in clashes and has her own work ethics and process. Sidharth and Hina told that they want everyone to get involved in tasks and bring out their lesser-known personalities.

- Bigg Boss announced the first task of the 14th season. Titled Jewel Thief, the freshers were divided into two teams. Hina and Gauahar were the 'queens'. The men of the house- Eijaz, Abhinav, Nishant, Jaan, Shehzad and Rahul were given the task to impress the queens to win pieces of jewellery. On the other hand, Sidharth was leading the team of girls who had to steal jewelleries from the queens. The team comprised of Rubina, Sara, Jasmin, Pavitra and Nikki.
- However, before the task began, Sidharth's team members went ahead and took the jewellery into their custody. This irked Gauahar who reprimanded Sidharth's unfair ethics. In a case of violation of rules, the girls had to return the jewellery.
- Sidharth's aggression and sheer stubbornness to not understand the rules of the game left Eijaz annoyed. Showcasing his angry side for the first time, he lashed out at Sidharth for not allowing the freshers to shine. He said Sidharth ruined the task.

- 'Queen' Hina gave away a few pieces of jewellery to Abhinav and other men. Gauahar who was visibly upset with Sidharth, went inside the bedroom. Jaan, in an attempt to please her, approached her with a message hidden inside a fruit. Gauahar was might impressed and had a smile on her face.
- Abhinav and Nishant approached Jasmin to convince her to hand over some jewellery to them. The actress ignored them saying she needs to talk to Sidharth before taking any action.

- At the end of the task, Pavitra and Jasmin had 3 pieces of jewellery while Nikki and Sara had 4 each. With 25 jewellery items, Abhinav won the task and secured immunity against nomination.
- In the bedroom, Sidharth, while talking to Nikki, quipped that he will willing to marry her. Calling him 'marriage material', Nikki added a punch of fun to the conversation.
