Salman Khan’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14 continues to be a big draw on television and with the show going form strength-to-strength every season it goes on to show that the contestant along with the superstar gets paid a hefty pay package. Now according to an insider account The Khabri, the salary details of the contestants have been revealed. The recently evicted Shehzad Deol was the lowest-earning contestant on the show but Rubina Dilaik who has been cooking up a storm in the house has the most lucrative contract and is the highest paid on the show.
According to The Khabri, Rubina is getting Rs 5 lakh per week and Jasmin Bhasin is getting Rs 3 lakh per week. However, Rubina’s husband Abhinav Shukla is getting Rs 1.5 lakh per week, the discrepancy in their salaries is because of Rubina’s popularity due to her stint in daily soaps.
According to the Bigg Boss insider, here’s what the Bigg Boss 14 contestants are making, per week:
Shehzad Deol - Rs 50k
Jaan Kumar Sanu - Rs 80k
Rahul Vaidya - Rs 1 lakh
Nikki Tamboli - Rs 1.2 lakh
Pavitra Punia - Rs 1.5 lakh
Abhinav Shukla - Rs 1.5 lakh
Eijaz Khan - Rs 1.8 lakh
Nishant Singh Malkani - Rs 2 lakh
Sara Gurpal - Rs 2 lakh
Jasmin Bhasin - Rs 3 lakh
Rubina Dilaik - Rs 5 lakh
And here’s what the seniors are making per week, for their two-week stint, which ended on Wednesday:
Sidharth Shukla - Rs 32 lakh
Hina Khan - Rs 25 lakh
Gauahar Khan - Rs 20 lakh
During the launch of Bigg Boss 14, Salman Khan had mentioned about taking a pay cut so that others get paid properly. During a chat with Abhishek Rege, CEO of Endemol Shine India, he had said, "I am more than happy to cut it down so everyone else can get paid."
