Bigg Boss 14's Thursday night episode was explosive. The captaincy task gave contestants a chance to make a lot of promises out of which some were real while some were fake. We saw a few contestants trying to make allies and the red zone contestants looking for assurance from the prospective captain to save them. Kavita Kaushik who was the current captain of the house was already out of the game.

Jasmin Bhasin, Rubina Daliak and Nishant Singh Malkani were also out of the game while Abhinav Shukla, Eijaz Khan and Shardul Pandit were seen giving a tough fight to each other. Red zone contestants Pavitra Punia, Rahul Vaidya, Nikki Tamboli and Jaan Kumar Sanu made sure Eijaz became the captain while sanchalak Naina Singh tried her best to be fair. 

Here are the top 10 highlights from the Day 26 of Bigg Boss 14: 

- The episode began with the teams fighting over Abhinav’s and Eijaz’s qualifications for captaincy and the two also had a heated discussion. While sanchalak Naina considered Eijaz to be disqualified, red zone members said it was Abhinav who was out of the game. 

- The game ended with Eijaz's bag in the green zone and Abhinav's bag in the red zone. Naina found the game unfair and supported Abhinav. However, when Bigg Boss asked her whose bag was in the green zone, she had to name Eijaz. 

- Eijaz became the new captain of the house and soon took over the responsibility of Kavita. While discussing the house chores, Kavita said she will agree to do whatever work is allotted to her by the captain. 

- However, later Kavita and Eijaz locked horns and had a major fight. The FIR actress told him to not irritate her by telling her to follow the rules. She also revealed that she was not Eijaz's friend in real life and that he overreacted after seeing her on the show. Eijaz was visibly hurt by Kavita's comments. Kavita blasted out on Eijaz for calling her his best friend given that Kavita has never shared a bond with Eijaz outside the house. Kavita was upset that because of Eijaz she was not able to make connections with the other contestants as they had a preconceived notion about her. Eijaz questioned Kavita while she got agitated and walked off. Eijaz got  very upset with Kavita.

- Next morning, the popular Marathi song Zingaat from the hit film Sairat was played as the morning song. This came at a time when the show issued apologies after Jaan Kumar Sanu allegedly hurt sentiments of Marathi-speaking people when he asked Nikki to not speak in Marathi. Jaan later issued a video apology later. 

- Rahul Vaidya was seen apologizing to Jaan Kumar Sanu over his nepotism comment and said he was not aware that Jaan’s parents were separated. A humble Jaan responded that he was not someone to take things to heart.

- Jasmin was seen crying and telling Shardul that she cannot forget the incident with Rahul. She also said that she wakes up in the night as she is scared. Shardul tried to explain to her to forget everything but Jasmin kept saying that it was difficult for her to do so. 

- After Kavita's and Eijaz's ugly fight, Nishant and Rubina were seen talking about Eijaz's mental health. Calling him a psycho and the biggest player, the said Eijaz was just playing a game and wanted to create a weird image of himself. 

- Bigg Boss further added a cracking twist to their day when he announced the ’Tabadla’ procedure. In this process, the red zone contestants and green zone contestants had to sit with their backs to each other in a rotating chair and convince other housemates why they deserved to switch to the green zone.

- Nikki and Kavita were put up against each other whereas Rahul and Jasmine had to face each other. Each one of them kept their own solid points while putting the other contestant down. Nikki and Kavita were the first ones to go and Eijaz was the decision-maker.
