Bigg Boss 14 house is witnessing new twists and turns every day! Looks like Eijaz Khan’s captaincy has brought the actor to life once again. While the whole house took his captaincy lightly and rejected and objected to his commands, Eijaz’s reactions to their actions were much entertaining to win him an award. 

Last night's episode was all about Eijaz's 'big betrayal' for Pavitra Punia and housemates fighting for immunity. 

Here are the top 10 highlights from the Day 31 of Bigg Boss 14: 

- The episode started with Jaan Kumar Sanu's fight with Eijaz Khan over his captaincy. Nikki Tamboli tried explaining to Jaan to not pay attention to Eijaz but Jaan seemed upset by the way he was being treated. 

- Bigg Boss then empowered Eijaz to safeguard one of the contestants from nominations. A big shocker for everyone, as Eijaz chose Jasmin which left Pavitra heartbroken and completely bewildered. On one hand, Pavitra was fuming in hurt and anger as she felt backstabbed and cheated, it seemed like Eijaz was following the ‘eye for an eye’ mantra, here. When the tables turned, Eijaz had the chance to get equal with Pavitra for nominating him in the previous episodes which had left him feeling as distraught as she has been now.

- It was then time for the nominations task! The contestants were given a task to be played in pairs. Each pair sat on a spaceship and then debated as to why one should be safe and in the green zone of the house, while the other should be nominated and be restricted in the red zone. A mask on the table was the deciding factor. As per the red, yellow and green signals, the contestants had to ensure that they retained the mask in their hand to make their way into the green zone. 

- Eager to escape the nominations, Nikki abided with the ‘by hook or by crook’ mantra. She snatched the mask from Rahul, who then asked her to talk it out with him. Unaccepting his proposal, Nikki hid the mask in her pants, leaving no way for the other to win the bet. 

- Nikki won immunity but the whole house suddenly turned against her and demeaned her for taking such a step, while Nikki being Nikki sportingly took the backlash and sticked to her ground, still believing that everything is fair in love and war. 

- Next up were Shardul and Naina. Shardul had the oxygen mask in his hand since the beginning of the task as he asked Naina to convince him to give it to her. Unable to come to a conclusion, they both decided to share the mask and get nominated.

- Towards the end of the episode, Pavitra was seen getting angry with Eijaz saying she did not like the reason that he gave for saving Jasmin. Nikki asked her to calm down and added that she should not have expected anything. Pavitra was in a very bad mood and started crying, saying she will not play the game to save herself and would willingly go to the red zone. A concerned Nikki kept convincing her to fight for herself even as Pavitra continued to cry. Pavitra and Jaan also discussed how she cooked forever for everyone. 

- Rubina and Abhinav then faced each other in the immunity task. Both of them kept giving the oxygen mask to each other but it was Abhinav who took it in the end and Rubina went to the red zone. 

- In a separate incident, Nikki asked Jaan not to kiss her and he jokingly said he will. However, she continued with a straight face that she had been meaning to tell this to him for some time. Soon, Jaan was seen following Nikki around in the washroom area as she got ready to retire and he kept asking why she was behaving weirdly. When she refused to explain anything, Jaan said no one is talking straight. 

- As the task ended, Naina, Shardul, Rubina and Rahul were nominated for evictions this week.
