Putting speculations to rest, Rahul Vaidya finally confessed his love for Disha Parmar in the Bigg Boss 14 house on November 11. The singer proposed to Disha on her 26th birthday by going down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?" While the housemates were left surprised, Rahul's parents didn't see the proposal coming. Reacting to his marriage proposal, Rahul's mother Geeta Vaidya told a leading daily that she is happy for him. Calling the Pyaar Ka Dard hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara actress a 'sweet girl', Mrs. Vaidya showered love on her.
"I am happy for him. His sudden proposal made me surprised as well but I am glad Disha is the one. She is an extremely sweet girl and I am fond of her. The rest I can't comment on or rather he can comment on only when he comes and we will sit and talk as family," Mrs. Vaidya told.
On the other hand, Disha subtly conveyed that she has accepted Rahul's proposal. However, she is yet to come out on national television. In a viral video, Disha is interacting with her friends who brought a cake on her birthday. She is heard telling someone off the camera that she is glowing because it is a special day. "You know how special today is, so I’m just glowing," she said. Probing further, the person behind the camera asked, "Of course, because of us na?" Disha added, "Yeah, obviously, what you thought?" The person recording the video quipped, "I thought someone proposed you on national television."
