Rumours of Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary's relationship aren't new. After displaying their crackling chemistry in Udaariyaan, the actors have participated in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 16. While Ankit and Priyanka are yet to confirm their relationship, the housemates felt something is certainly brewing between them.
In one of the promos of Bigg Boss 16, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Gautam Vig teased Ankit about his bonding with Priyanka. However, he said, "We are chill until we are fine. But if some fight happens between us, by some mistake, then you will find out."

Nimrit further asked Ankit if they share a relationship beyond friendship. He answered, "We both are very clear and sorted. She wants a future, but I am very clear that I don't want it at all." Gautam said, "She has that likeness and softness for you," whereas Ankit replied, "We are so good with each other that we don't even think about these things."
In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon.com, Ankit spoke about dating rumours. "I have no problem with rumours because I know what’s the truth. Keep guessing and let the rumours flow!" Ankit told. When PeepingMoon asked Priyanka about the same, she said, "I have heard of such rumours while doing Udaariyaan too. Ankit and I have always said that we are best friends. Ladko mein mera eklauta itna accha dost bana hai, so I am very happy. Baatein toh banti hai, it is okay. Yeh spark toh humare beech hamesha rahega. I always value my relationships, chahe voh dosti ho ya pyaar. PriyAnkit are shining stars."
