Sajid Khan's participation in Bigg Boss 16 has sparked a major debate on social media. Several allegations of sexual misconduct were levelled against him in 2018 and following that, he was banned from working in the Hindi film industry. Now, 4 years later, he is back in the limelight.
Raising her voice against Sajid's participation in Bigg Boss 16, Sherlyn Chopra recorded her statement against the filmmaker at the Juhu police station on October 29. In a statement to a media agency, Sherlyn claimed, "A woman officer of Juhu police recorded my statement.Police assured me Sajid Khan will be immediately called from Bigg Boss house for questioning. It's unfortunate that such an accused is in Bigg Boss house. Action must be taken as we want justice."

She further said, "My special request is to Salman Khan who’s very conveniently ignoring the plight of women who’ve been wronged by his friend. People call you ‘Bhaijaan’, why can’t you take a stand for us? Why can’t you be a big brother to us? Why can’t you remove our molester, habitual offender, and habitual sexual predator from your house. Why this indifference to us?"

Talking to the media agency, she added, "I would like to make it clear that this is not just my battle, it’s a battle of every woman, who has been wronged by MeeToo accused Sajid Khan. It’s a battle of every person who believes that sexual molestation is not acceptable. Sexual molestation is not a birthright that is to be exploited or misused especially by people like Sajid Khan, who happens to be the favourites of Khan gang in Bollywood. They have very high connections, so it’s difficult for us. To fight them, it takes an immense amount of bravery and patience."
In a viral video, Sherlyn can be heard saying, "Sajid Khan ke sar par kisi aur ka nahi balki Salman Khan ka haath hai aur unke hote Sajid Khan ka koi baal tak baanka nahi kar sakta hai."
On October 10, Sherlyn claimed in a tweet, "He had flashed his private part at me & asked me to rate it on a scale of 0 to 10. I’d like to enter into the house of Big Boss & give him the rating!" She further said, "Pls take a stand! @BeingSalmanKhan"
The makers of Bigg Boss 16 are yet to react to the multiple allegations levelled against Sajid post his entry into the house.
