A few days ago, Sumbul Touqeer Khan got another chance to interact with her father, Touqeer Khan, through a phone call on humanitarian grounds. Currently locked in the Bigg Boss 16 house, the actress received some advice and outside information from her father which was unethical keeping the strict rules of the show in mind. While the phone call was kept a secret, Bigg Boss, in the latest episode, finally showed the housemates the footage from Sumbul and her father's interaction.
During the interaction, Touqeer Khan slammed Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot and called them 'Kameeney Log'. When Bigg Boss showed the footage to the housemates, Tina and Shalin were left shocked and frustrated. In the latest promo of Bigg Boss 16, Shalin can be seen screaming at Sumbul and telling her to never talk to him and Tina. Breaking into a rage, he kicked a box kept on the table. When Sumbul tried to explain that she doesn't speak to them any longer, Tina also lost her cool.
Sumbul defended her father and told Tina that he didn't say anything wrong about her. The latter hit back and said, "Main bhi kisi ki beti hu." Later in the promo, Tina punched the wall and said the former's father assassinated her character. "Mera character assassination kar rahe hain khud ki beti ki izzat bachane ke liye. Khud ki beti nai sambhalti hai toh doosro ki beti pe ungilyan mat uthao," Tina said looking into the camera.
While talking to Sumbul over the call, Touqeer said, "Maloom hai log kitni gaaliyan derahe hai mujhe ki apni beti ka tamasha bana dia." He accused Tina and Shalin of assassinating Sumbul's character. The actress' father further slammed them and said she should make them their biggest enemies and show them their ‘aukaat’ on national TV.
