One of the most popular contestants of Bigg Boss 16, Tina Datta, was eliminated from the show this weekend after Shalin Bhanot chose to safeguard Rs. 25 lacs from the winning amount over the actress. However, Bigg Boss introduced a twist in the tale. Tina has returned to the house. However, her re-entry happened on a bitter note. Just after she left the house, Shalin was seen talking ill about her which was, obviously, conveyed to her.
After Tina's exit, Archana Gautam asked if Shalin knew she was getting eliminated from the show. He replied, "I knew it when Salman Khan said saath then only at that time I figured that Tina was getting eliminated." Also, he told Sreejita De, "I never liked Tina, it was only because of the chicken that I liked her. I was only worried about my food and she used to do it so that is the only thing I am missing right now because who will make chicken for me now. I won’t even talk to that girl after I go out of the house because there I would have my restaurant for it."

Giving Tina another chance to enter the house, Bigg Boss gave Shalin another chance to retain the remaining prize money of Rs. 25 lacs or bring the actress back. This time, he chose Tina. After she returned, she exposed Shalin and said, "I’m back. That day when he knew I was going to go, he didn’t press the buzzer. Why did he press it today? You were taking so much time to think whether or not to press the buzzer. If I were in your place Shalin Bhanot, I would have pressed it in the count of three. Agar tum apne dost ke nahi ho sakte… tum kisi ke nahi ho sakte ho." When Shalin asked Tina, “You didn’t want to go?" She replied, “No, I didn’t want to go. You were dancing there after my elimination. Why are you being fake? I had to get a reality check which I have now got it."
She further said, "Tum kisi ke nahi ho."
