Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain participated in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 17. They were among the most popular contestants on the reality show. While their journey started on a smooth note, they did go through a rough phase due to frequent disagreements and fights over friendships and bondings inside the house. 

Vicky's mother, Ranjana Jain, was upset about certain instances that happened between the couple. During a special visit inside the house with Ankita's mother, she questioned the actress' conduct and behaviour. When the Family Week episodes aired, the mother-in-law & daughter-in-law got some time to clarify issues that bothered them. 

On the finale episode, when Salman was teasing Vicky's mother, he asked Ankita to take four vows whereas her mother-in-law had to take three. During the activity, Mrs. Jain asked the actress, "Ankita ye promise karo ke aise show main nahi aaogi ki humari image pani main chali jaye." Ankita stood up for herself and replied, "I am a part of this industry mumma. I am proud of it."

Ankita was touted to be the potential winner of Bigg Boss 17. However, on the grand finale yesterday, she was voted out and couldn't make it to the top 3. The Pavitra Rishta star was upset and didn't interact with the media after the finale ended.
