Luv Kataria's decision sparks outrage after Poulomi Das's eviction from Anil Kapoor’s Bigg Boss OTT 3

In a dramatic turn of events on Bigg Boss OTT 3, contestant Poulomi Das was evicted from the show following a contentious decision by co-contestant Luv Kataria. The reality show, which began airing on June 21st, has already seen three evictions within its first two weeks: Neeraj Goyat, Payal Malik, and now Poulomi Das.

According to Jagran, the latest eviction occurred mid-week when Bigg Boss put six contestants—Naezy, Chandrika Dixit (aka Vada Pav Girl), Munisha Khatwani, Shivani Kumari, Vishal Pandey, and Poulomi Das—in the danger zone. Ultimately, four of these contestants were declared safe, leaving Poulomi and Munisha in jeopardy.

In a twist, Bigg Boss tasked 'baharwala' Luv Kataria with saving one of the two remaining danger zone contestants. Kataria chose to save Munisha Khatwani, leading to Poulomi Das's eviction. This decision has ignited a wave of backlash from Poulomi's fans across social media platforms.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "All the eliminations till today have been unfair. These people deserved to stay at least more than Deepak and Munisha, Vada Pav girl too." Another comment read, “Poulomi was strong, and she has guts to speak out against Bigg Boss and others; that's why they planned to evict her.”

Many fans echoed the sentiment that Poulomi's eviction was unjust, with some pointing out that she was a more deserving contestant compared to others still in the game. "Poulomi had great potential, these makers always try to target the celeb contestants and always uplift the crassy ones like Shivani, Chandrika," wrote another person.

Another tweet highlighted, “#PoulomiDas is more deserving than #KritikaMalik #ChandrikaDixit #shivanikumari #VishalPandey #Kataria even #sanasultan and #sanamakbul. I genuinely like #sanasultan but Poulomi is more opinionated and blunt. She has very clear points about everything and she is more real.”

Bigg Boss OTT 3 also features Ranvir Shorey, Armaan Malik, his second wife Kritika Malik, Sana Makbul, Deepak Chaurasia, Sai Ketan Rao, Sana Sultan, and Lovekesh Kataria, among others. Initially launched on Voot with Karan Johar as the host, the show saw Salman Khan take over for the second season. The current season airs on JioCinema and is hosted by actor Anil Kapoor.
