He had offers from two different reality shows and chose Bigg Boss OTT 3 due to the absence of other work commitments at the time. Ranvir Shorey disclosed that he aims to use the Rs 25 lakh prize money from the show for Haroon's college education. Haroon, whom Shorey co-parents with his ex-wife Konkona Sen Sharma, is a central figure in Shorey's life. The actor's concern for his son's education and future was evident during the press conference.

"My son was out of the country, so I wanted to come here," Shorey explained. "He is 13 years old, and I want him to start living his life with a man around him." This statement underscores Shorey's commitment to being a present and active father, ensuring Haroon has a stable and supportive environment.
